Dropdown Question
Dropdown question type allows respondents to select a single answer from a list of options that are presented in a dropdown menu. This question type is often used when there are many answer choices that would clutter the survey or when the answer choices are lengthy, such as country, city, or occupation. Creating a Dropdown Question
To create a Dropdown question in your survey, follow these steps:
1. Choose Dropdown to add the question to your survey.
2. Enter the question you want to ask in the text box provided. Make sure the question is clear and concise.
3. Add the options for the question. You can add as many options as you need, but note that pictures and descriptions cannot be added to the options for this question type.
4. (Optional) Adjust any additional settings for questions and options.
5. Click Finish.
Analyzing the Data
SurveyPluto offers various ways to display the results of Dropdown questions. The results show the number and percentage of responses for each option, and are presented using charts and tables to visualize the data. Multiple chart types are available for Dropdown questions, including column, pie, doughnut, bar, and line charts.
