Quota Setting
Quota rules can control the number of times a specified option is selected. Once the specified number of selections is reached, this option cannot be selected, or selecting this option will result in an invalid response. For example, if a survey needs to collect 500 responses each from males and females, this can be controlled by setting quota rules.
Adding Quota for One Question
1. Access "Build" page and select Quota to initiate quota setup.
2. Click +Add Quota Rules to open the quota rule configuration window.
3. Choose the question for which you want to set quotas. Applicable question types are:
- Multiple Choice
- Checkboxes
- Dropdown
- Date
- Rate the Choice
- Rating Checkbox
4. Assign specific quotas to options. Leave the quota field blank for options without a quota.
5. Provide a name for your quota rule for easy identification.
6. Decide on the quota rule type, with two options available:
- Visible quota: Selecting this will make the option unselectable once its quota is met. You can opt to show the remaining quota count.
- Implicit quota: Options remain selectable under this rule, but submissions exceeding the quota are automatically invalidated and redirected to the Recycle Bin, displaying a "Sorry, you don’t meet some of the criteria required of this survey. Thank you for your participation!" message on the "thank you" page.
